It began the day I learned magic was real. I was kidnapped and thrown into a maze, where I stumbled upon a book I should’ve never opened—Tartarus. That one mistake unleashed every demon it once held captive, and now they’re tearing my city apart.

My kidnappers, the Organization, claim to guard the secrecy of magic and train those who wield it. Their orders were simple: hunt the demons and keep magic hidden, or I’d watch the people I love, including my partner, die.

But I’m not the only one after the demons. The creator of Tartarus wants me to sever my bond with the prison so he can use its power to ‘cure’ the world of supposed delusions—propaganda so outdated, it should’ve died in the nineteenth century. And he’s more than willing to kill me to get what he wants.
